The Kilmore International School has a proud history of involvement with Japanese students.
Over 20 years ago, the School began with just 4 students – all from Japan. 

Over the years there have been many successful Japanese students who
have gone on to study at universities of their choice around the world. 
I immediately think of Onodera Masaaki and Masanori, 
now at the Australian National University and Kawazu Mihoko, 
a graduate of The University of Melbourne.

I have travelled many times to Japan and greatly enjoyed the blend of ancient culture and modern technology. 
At The Kilmore International School we welcome students from around the world!

I have been involved with TKIS either as a student or a staff member since 1996. 
Over this time, I have seen the school grow and change immensely.
 TKIS is a melting pot for students from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds
and gives students a breadth of cultural experiences and understanding
that most people do not experience until well into their professional lives.
Students here at TKIS are striving to become educated global citizens
through studying the IB program while working alongside their classmates
from all over the world.   It's a wonderful community to be part of
and I'm always proud and happy to be here.
